Nifty Newsletter (Week of November 26)
When we return our
new letter in Phonics will be Ss as in sun. We will continue to blend words,
read sentences and work with syllables.
In Math we will
compare objects by weight, identify AB and ABB patterns and work with Garboards.
Our new Reading
story is Who’s Garden Is It? We will
discuss things that live and grow in a garden and compare fiction and
nonfiction.
On Tuesday,
November 4th a paper will come home to complete a letter to Santa. One of our
local postmen will be in to pick up the letters and deliver them to the North
Pole! Letters should be returned by Monday December 3.
The K-2 Christmas
concert will be held on Monday, December 17 at 9:30 a.m. in the high school
auditorium.
Many of the
children are running low on crayons, pencils and glue sticks. Their crayon
boxes are in their backpacks. Please check and resupply. Thank you!
