Math:  We will finish Topic 3, numbers 6-10.  We will learn how to read, write, and count numbers 6-10.  We will learn how to show those numbers in different ways. Our assessment will be towards the end of the week.  We thank you for signing and returning the assessments in a timely manner.

Science:  We have finished our Earth/Weather unit.  We will be working on the First Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving attributes.  We will compare and contrast different foods for Thanksgiving and for other times of the year.

*****Our Handwriting lesson was using shaving cream!  We made all of the letters we learned in shaving cream on our desks.
*****Please continue to practice sight words, letters, and sounds.  We have seen such improvement!  Please read a book a night and fill out the AR log accordingly.  It really helps to read daily to develop many different reading skills.
****Information was enclosed for the Field Trip.  Students are asked to wear dress code or better.  They should not wear Gym clothes, with a polo and dress code pants at minimum.  Students may wear Holiday Dresses or Clothes, even if they are not dress code.
******Thanks for your participation, cooperation and hard work!!!!!
*****Please label any coats, hats, gloves, scarves for the colder weather.  They often get misplaced and it will be easier to find the owner if they are labeled.

*****Thank you so much to our community helpers!  Thanks to the Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Department for coming to fingerprint all of Kindergarten and to the Goodwill Fire Company for the fire safety presentation.
