letter Mm as in monkey. We will hear
and identify the initial and final sounds heard in words, play a game to rhyme
words and unblend words to count the sounds.
In Math we’ll be working on sets of ten, describing
relative position of objects, acting out story problems using pennies and
identifying time to the hour.
Our new Reading story is called Animal Babies
in Grasslands. We will discuss who lives in the grasslands and talk about the
main idea of the story. The main idea is the most important thing the author
wants to talk about.
