Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Mrs. Borden and I am so
excited to be your teacher this year!! This
will be my fourteenth year teaching Kindergarten.
I live in Lake
Wynonah with my husband, twelve-year-old son Tyler and nine -year-old daughter
Anna. I attended Bloomsburg University where I studied to become a
teacher. I then received my Master’s
Degree at Penn State University.
This school
year Mrs. Jones will also be working in our room. Together we will implement
differentiated instruction to meet everyone’s needs. This will be our
thirteenth year working together. Mrs. Jones attended Lebanon Valley College and
has her Master’s Degree from Bloomsburg University. She lives in Ringtown with
her husband and six-year-old son Cameron.
Mrs. Jones and
I have been busy getting your new classroom ready. We can’t wait to start learning and having
fun! Kindergarten is packed with tons of
wonderful things to learn. In fact, we
will explore letters and numbers… and even learn to read and write
stories. We will also read many books
this year and work on the computer too!
Our
Kindergarten adventure begins on Monday, August 28th, the first day
of school! We will spend some time
getting to know each other and learning about what makes our classroom special…YOU!
We are very excited to be your
teachers and to share all of the fun things that we will be doing in
Kindergarten. We look forward to working with you!
