This week, we will not be learning a new letter for Phonics because it is a short week. We will be doing a review of the five letters we have learned so far: Ll, Oo, Gg, Hh, and Tt.

Our theme for this week will be a continuation of
fire safety. We will also start talking about the five senses!

We will continue to work on Chapter 3: Numbers 0 to 5 next week in Math. Please continue working on patterns with your child and practice writing numbers 0-5.

In reading, we will continue with the story, Julius, and start a new story, Dig Dig Digging.

The kindergarten Fall Festival will be held this Thursday, October 15 and there will not be a rain date. This will be held outside so please keep this in mind when you are dressing your child. No shorts please! Jeans are O.K. for this day.

We may have a special guest in Kindergarten next week to talk to us about the importance of hand washing! Friday, October 16 is the Brainshow Mania assembly. It should be a busy, but very fun week!!!!

Just a reminder: There is no school for students on Monday, October 12 and Tuesday, October 13 for Columbus Day! Enjoy your days off!!!!
