***In Math, we are working on Topic 16, Analyzing, Comparing, and Composing Shapes.  Our essential question is: How can shapes be named, described, compared, and composed?  Our new math words include: same size, same shape, roll, stack, slide.  Please continue to review: shapes, position words, colors, and numbers 0-10 and counting.
***In Reading, our new story is: Dig, Dig, Digging and we classify and categorize within the story.  Our new amazing word are: scooping, squelching, spinning, swooshing, gobbling, and rumbling.  At home, you can continue to practice all letters and sounds, rhyming pairs, and stretching out words to make all of the sounds (dog stretched to /d/ /o/ /g/) as well as sight words.
***Science and Social Studies- Our Fall Festival was a big hit!  We had a great time using our 5 senses to experience fall things.  Thank you to all of the family members that helped to make it a wonderful day!  We also starting exploring what Science means to us as well as will be working on following all school rules.
