Phonics – Our new letter is consonant
K like in Kite. We will review vowels, unblend consonant
sounds, and count syllables in words.
Centers- The month of December
has our centers revolving around the themes of the holidays and winter. We have also been busy writing about what we are wishing for and what makes a good
reindeer.
Reading – Our new story is
called Little Quack. The
comprehension skill is character. We will also discuss being brave.
Math – We will use number
knowledge to count, write, and identify numbers
to 20. We will also be working on solving
problems to find missing numbers.
The Elementary Band
and Chorus concert will be on Thursday,
December 12 at 7pm at the High School.
Monday will
be Day 2, please remember Library Books.
Wednesday
will be Day 4, please wear sneakers for Gym.
Friday will not be a rotation day due to the
fact that the children will be attending the concert for the students that day.
