Our new
letter in Phonics will be K as in kite! We will continue to work with
compound words, syllables and manipulating sounds in words. We will celebrate
King day when we return from Christmas break. More information will be sent at
a later date.
In Math
we will match numbers to sets, compare numbers, problem solve and weigh
objects using nonstandard objects.
Our new Reading
story is called See How We Grow. The story follows twin girls, Samantha and
Serena, and shows how they grow and change from babies to young children. We
will talk about how we have grown and changed in the same ways. We ask that every child bring a baby
picture of themselves to help make the comparison!
