In Phonics, we will learn about the letter
R as in rabbit. We will work with compound words, syllables and manipulate
sounds in words. We will also continue to review letters, sounds, sight words
and blending.
In Math, we will estimate, count by 10’s,
identify a dime, trade pennies for dimes, create and extend ABB patterns.
Our new Reading story is called Little
Quack. We will discuss new things that
we can do as we grow and change. Our reading skill is Plot. We call the things
that happen in the beginning, middle and the end of a story the plot.
Thank you
