This week in Phonics we will be learning the consonant letter Vv as in
vest and violin. Continue to practice the complete list of sight words that were sent home.
In Reading we will begin an informational text titled If You Could Go to
Antarctica. We will practice the comprehension
skill classify and categorize.
In Math we will be working with identifying a cylinder and ordering objects by
height & paying for items to 25 cents and 50 cents using nickels. We will also work with ABC patterns.
February is Dental Health Month! We are discussing how to brush properly and to how to take care of our teeth.
