This week in phonics we will learn about the letter Dd as in dog and dinosaur. Show and Tell will be on Wednesday, February 24.
In Math we will be finishing Chapter 8. Students should be able to identify pennies, nickels, and dimes and know their value. They will also need to tell time to the hour. Our test will be Tuesday. We will begin Chapter 9, Measurement.
In Reading we will read an Animal Fantasy called Bunny Day. We will talk about Sequence.
We will celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America on Friday. Students from Bloomsburg University will be here to teach a lesson.
Thank you to our Homeroom Helpers for planning such a wonderful Valentine's Day party on Friday. The students had a sweet time!
Newspaper in Education week is coming the 1st week of March. Papers explaining the activities came home on Friday in your child's folder.
Monday is Gym, don't forget your sneakers! Tuesday is Book Exchange, don't forget your library books.
